No New Posts IDPA rss
IDPA Your basic self-defense, stock out of the box gun is recommended for IDPA. No “race guns” are permitted for IDPA scoring. We promote shooting from different positions, such as standing, sitting, prone, moving etc. We also shoot “from cover” using various kinds of props on our stages. Every match will be different and the IDPA stage designs are all based on gunfight scenarios.

No New Posts L.E.S.A. Limited Extreme Shooting rss
Limited Extreme Shooting You will find this match to be both CHALLENGING and FUN. We emphasize the tactical side of shooting by doing things like shooting on the move, shooting from cover, use of strong and weak hand and limited round count on paper. Paper and steel targets such as the Texas star, and other reactive steel are used each month. We always welcome stage designs or ideas. So if you are looking for some fun, safe, competitive shooting please come and join us. http://www.lesamatch.com/

No New Posts Juniors Program rss
Boys and girls, ages 10 through 17 are eligible to participate in the Juniors Club. They must become Junior NRA Members and they must have written permission from their parents. (Parents do not have to be club members.) Dues are $10.00 per year and range fees are $2.00 for each day at the range. First and foremost, youngsters are taught Range Safety. Safe handling of firearms must be demonstrated and practiced before they are allowed to shoot. Once those prerequisites are met, then shooting positions are demonstrated and practiced before shooting live ammunition is allowed. Rifles in .22 caliber, with target sights, are used to shoot at 50 foot, NRA bullseye targets. Rifles and ammunition are supplied by the club. The junior shooter shoots five shots at each of 10 bullseyes on the standard 50 foot NRA bullseye target and the score is recorded on the junior's individual record sheet. Juniors advance in rank as their scores improve. The ranks are set by the NRA, starting with Pro-Marksman and running through Distinguished expert. The rate at which each junior advances is determined by their own drive to excel. As they advance, awards are given for each rank. The junior receives patches, medals, or certificates at each level of achievement. These NRA awards are provided by the club. Parents are encouraged to participate. Doing so helps build an effective parent - child relationship and improves range supervision. For more information, contact Mike James (909) 988-7626

No New Posts Precision Bolt Rifle rss
“Precision Bolt Rifle” is designed specifically for the Bolt Action Shooter. Usually a quality built heavy barrel rifle with quality optics would be best for this match, however a quality hunting rifle can be used as well. This match is designed to make the Bolt Rifleman more confident and become a more accurate shooter with the various COF’s (Course of Fire). We shoot at Steel outside of the “Fire Season”, but mostly paper targets and reactive targets such as balloons or clay pigeons. Targets are of all sizes and shapes.

No New Posts Shotgun Trap & Skeet rss
Skeet has developed into much more than just an aid to better wing shooting or a substitute for hunting. It is now a competitive sport equaled by few in universal appeal. Matches are conducted for all gun gauges, against others of like ability. While many skeet shooters never feel the need to own or use more that one gauge of shotgun a registered skeet competition typically features the most popular three gauges, 12, 20, 28 and the .410 bore (so named because it represents the bore diameter of the shot gun and not the gauge). Typical equipment is a 9mm through 45 pistol with 3 or more magazines, a shotgun, a rifle. The match loosely follows the Soldier of Fortune 3 Gun rules. Shooting will be from many different positions, such as standing, sitting, prone etc... We also use cover and barricades on many of our stages.
