Hi folks.

3Gun at West End Gun Club is going to host our First Annual Tactical Rifle Match this September, on Saturday the 24th.  
We will have 6 stages of fire, with ranges from 5 yards out to 150+.  With the exception of the “long range” stage, think of it as an action pistol match shot with your rifle.  One stage will probably include steel at about 50 yds, with the “long” range stage having steel targets out to ~150 yds.  

We have held this type of match a few times over the last couple years with very positive feedback.  So we are going to step it up a notch and hold a more “professional” match.  My apologies for the late notice, but due to scheduling issues we have had to move the date up a bit…   For you guys who are going to the Vegas multi-gun nationals in October, this could be an opportunity to hone those rifle skills.  Smiley

The pre-registration fee for this match is $40.00.  Registration on the day of the match will be available for $50.00, but only if there is room on the roster.  The entry fee includes a match challenge coin and t-shirt.  The first 10 challenge coins will be numbered, with a gold/silver/bronze coin going to the first/second/third place finishing shooters.  Everyone else will get a coin as well, just not a numbered coin.

Also, we will have a Team Event where for an additional $10.00 for each shooter, you can team up with 2 other shooters and compete for the Team Event Pot Prize – All of the additional Team Event $10 fees will go into the pot, and the winning team gets to split it.  With a maximum 10 teams, the pot could be as large as $300.00.  The way it works is the overall match score for the 3 team members is averaged together to determine the team score, with the best team score winning the Team Event.  You must be pre-registered to participate in the Team Event.  You do not have to physically be on the same squad as a team to compete as a team.  Grouping team members together will have priority when squads are formed, but no guarantees.

There is only one equipment division: Tactical  (see USPSA rifle rules)
The roster for this match is a maximum of 72 shooters.
We will have assigned squads, though you can request a squad and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

I have attached the registration form and information sheet below.  Please print out the registration form and mail it in to the address on the sheet.  It must be received no later than September 17.  Any available roster positions on the day of the match will be first come first served.

If you have already sent in your entry form to the incorrect address, shoot me an email so I can be sure to look for it.  The Post Office will re-route the mail to the correct box, but should some slip through and get returned to sender, we will work it out.
