Hello Men & 2011 SCPRC Participants,
Just to let you know I will be openly posting soon for the 2012 SCPRC which will be held over the Veteran's Day Weekend as it has for the last two years which will be November 10-11. Cost will be $175 per entry and if you plan to shoot the team event that will be an additional $10 at the door per entry. All of those separate proceeds will be split between the Overall Team Winner's. That's a fun event and has covered the entry fee of the team participants, can't beat that.

The entry fee will include: 2012 SCPRC Shirt, Mug, Hat and Numbered Challenge coin based upon your placement. 1-10 will be Solid Sterling Silver with the coveted 001 plated in 24kt Gold. The entry fee will also cover your lunch on Sunday during awards.

Last year's 2011 Overall SCPRC Winner was San Diego P.D. Mr. Wayne Doeden who handily won with the venerable .308. The ol'caliber still has the right stuff in the right hands, good job Wayne! As usual custom, the previous year's winner gets to shoot for free to defend their title.

Some of you who laid down their rifles last year to help with the match we appreciate that, so if you would like to shoot this year that would be quite alright. That also means we would need some local men to step up and fill in the gaps so your brothers can shoot. I will know soon exactly how many RO's we will need once I get confirmation from the Senior RO's. Probably half a dozen extra's would do it.

With all volunteer events such as this, they don't happen without volunteers to make them happen. This will be WEGC 7th Annual SCPRC and we appreciate the club allowing us to host the match. These events are allot of work and our sponsors have really been generous in the past, but with the times being what they are, you never know what they may donate for prizes, so please keep that in mind. There are more matches today then before, so their prize pool is being spread thinner over the country. More major matches is a good thing though.

The 2012 SCPRC will be limited to (7) 6 man teams for a total of 42 Competitors. Before I openly post the match on-line, I will need to know how many are going to RO for 2012 which is a fun job in itself. Allot of work and no pay. However, a crucial job none the less with job satisfaction of being a volunteer for a weekend supporting our sport.

Check your calendars and let me know ASAP. Take care and talk with you soon.

Regards Mark.

7th Annual SCPRC is being held on November 10-11. We will be setting up beginning Friday however we will not be in any other bays other than the Juniors Range
We will be starting the match between 1300-1400 from Bay 6 and the 200 Yard Line. From 1600 until 1400 Sunday, the entire back range will be closed for the Match. We will open up the back range up after 1400, Sunday. The Main Gate we will close Saturday night when the last competitor leaves for the night. We will open it back up Sunday morning since we start the second portion at 0700. So from about 2200 Saturday Night to until 0600 Sunday Morning the Main Gate will be closed.
