LOUISIANA LAWMAKER PROPOSES TAX HOLIDAY FOR GUN SALES . . . New Orleans-area Rep. Cameron Henry (R-Jefferson) is proposing a state "sales tax holiday" for gun purchases one weekend each year, the Associated Press reports. The bill, dubbed the "Second Amendment Recognition Act," will be considered in the regular legislative session that begins April 27.
