Three-gun

The Three Gun match is held the 4th Saturday of every month. Signups start at 9am with shooting starting around 9:30am. We shoot at both steel and paper targets. Typical ranges are from 3 yards all the way out to 300 yards. Typical equipment is a 9mm through 45 pistol with 3 or more magazines, a shotgun, a rifle, eye protection, ear protection, holsters and magazine holders for above. Bring 150 rounds for your pistol, 100 rounds for your rifle, 50 shot shells and a box of slugs for the shotgun to round out your day. Sunscreen and lots of drinking water are recommended during the summer months.

The match loosely follows the Soldier of Fortune 3 Gun rules. Shooting will be from many different positions, such as standing, sitting, prone etc... We also use cover and barricades on many of our stages. Every match is unique and we encourage you to bring your own stage design if you would like to run it for the match. Many matches will include a bonus "Surprise" stage where you will not know what to expect until you are ready to shoot it. Classes are available for Unlimited and Limited with sub classes of Master, A, B, and C based on skill level. Guns with Compensators and powered optic sights run in unlimited class to even the field of more common factory type guns running in the limited classes. You will get a lot of different experience from drawing, shooting on the move, reloading, using cover and barricades at this match. We welcome first timers to come on out and give it a try. This in not a sanctioned match such as ISPC or Steel challenge so you will find more shooters here just for the fun of a day shooting their everyday stock guns.

Fees run $20 for non members, $10 for members. Prizes are awarded after the match for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class as well as door prizes ranging from primers to slugs. For more information, please contact Doug Marsters the match director at (949) 888-8952
