Project Appleseed, a program of marksmanship instruction with the bonus of learning important American Heritage no longer taught in our schools, will return to WEGC on May 22 and 23, 2010.

An Appleseed shoot is great for the whole family, from novice to expert and everyone in between. We shoot on the Junior Range, .22 caliber rimfire only. The cost for male shooters is $70 for 2 days of training, with no range fees for WEGC members. All women, all youth under 21 years, all active Military, Guard or reserve shoot for free and again WEGC members do not pay any range fees. Non-members pay $10/day range fees and those 17 and under pay $5/day. To register, click here. ATTENTION LADIES!! The fastest growing demographic in the shooting world is women shooters, and Project Appleseed is offering a special all female shoot at West End on June 26 – 27, 2010! This is an all female shoot, Instructors and participants, so click here to register. A Project Appleseed shoot is a great opportunity to get together with your friends, family and/or co-workers for a weekend of marksmanship instruction, Heritage, and a lot of fun! Come join us! We want to see you soon at a Project Appleseed shoot!
If you have any questions or need more information, please let me know. I hope to meet you sometime in person, maybe at a Project Appleseed shoot!
